Manado to Bitung Road Trip

The video below is of the Tarsius (aka Tarsier) Monkey, which is the smallest monkey in the world, and is native to insular Southeast Asia. I took this video at the private animal park outside of Bitung on the island of Sulawesi, Indonesia.

NAD-Lembeh Dive Resort

utterz-image
Photo: Four of the five churches in a small town/village on the Lembeh Strait. On second thought, and looking at this photo, I think the population here is probably closer to 400 to 500 people -- not the couple hundred that I guessed in the podcast.

Mating Mandarins at Lembeh Island, Indonesia

Some photos of fish discussed in this podcast....

Yellow ribbon fish

Mandarin fish in brocken coral

Mating mandarins. The female is the larger fish, the male is the smaller. I incorrectly said in the podcast that the female was 1 to 2 inches long, actually she is about twice that long.
